I help aspiring authors write their novels and create a routine that takes them from procrastination to print.
In a world filled with distraction, it can be easy to put your dreams on hold.
As well as being a Doctor of Creative Writing, I am a Certified Professional Life Coach and can help you become the writer you want to be.
Are you ready to write your novel?
Whether you can’t find the time to write, you’re stuck on an idea, or you want to know more about the writing process, coaching is the answer.
Hire an experienced eye to develop your novel.
Are you ready for a developmental or copy edit?
I’d love to help you clear your novel of plot holes, tighten up your narrative structure and make your story shine.
Learn how to be your best creative self.
Plan and prepare your novel idea and turn it into an actual piece of work. We’ll talk about everything you need to know, with writing tasks, homework, and even vital classes about publishing and marketing.
If you are ready to write, be held accountable, and get that novel finally going – this is the package for you.
As well as having an experienced writer to hold you accountable, you will benefit from my in-depth expertise in writing novels.
You will discuss all relevant areas of writing to assist you on your journey, including publishing routes (traditional and self).
You will also get an entire novel developmental edit when you’re ready – this alone is worth its weight in gold.
The above coaching packages give you an idea of what sort of offer is available. I can also tailor these to your specific requirements and am always happy to talk about a package that will work for you.
The first step is a Discovery Call so that we can chat about your writing needs.
Working with Rachel over the last three months has given me many things, but to put it succinctly:
I now have a flashlight to help guide me along the path to publishing whereas before I couldn’t see past my nose, all thanks to her coaching me how to plan.
Rachel’s brainstorming and researching coaching, as well as encouragement, helped me in taking something from initial idea to full concept.
Having someone who is a bit further along the path than me hold space and coach me through my writing concerns meant I felt supported and guided without feeling like an amateur.
The short answer is – I am experienced and qualified. I have spent time training and educating myself to ensure that I have recognised Creative Writing and Coaching qualifications.
I was trained as a Professional Certified Life Coach by the International Coach Federation accredited Certified Life Coach Institute, gained my Creative Writing PhD and MA at the University of Birmingham, and my Creative Writing BA at Bath Spa University. Aside from this, I have undertaken courses that enable me to be the best coach and editor possible.
